Oren Lund is a partner of MCLLP.  Prior to joining MCLLP, Mr. Lund was most recently a partner with the private equity and M&A group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, where his practice focused on structuring, negotiating and managing the corporate, securities and tax aspects of complex transactions.  At K&E, he represented private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as large corporate clients, in the wide array of transactions that they encountered.

In addition to his tenure at K&E, Mr. Lund was the Associate General Counsel of Stericycle, Inc.  As the second-most senior attorney, he provided complex legal and business guidance to the CEO, CFO and General Counsel of the highly acquisitive public company. 


Mr. Lund earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American history, summa cum laude, from the University of Texas at Dallas and an Associate degree from the Culinary Institute of America.  Mr. Lund then earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago where he received the Ann Watson Barber Outstanding Service Award.  

Mr. Lund is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois (not yet admitted in California).
