EXPERIENCE

Mr. Zweig is an employment law Partner of MCLLP.  Prior to joining MCLLP, he was Counsel in the Employment Litigation Practice Group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York.  Mr. Zweig represents businesses in all aspects of employment law, including matters pertaining to restrictive covenant agreements and enforcement, discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour compliance and litigation, internal investigations, employment and separation agreements, and breach of contract and termination disputes.  His practice includes performing due diligence and advising on other employment issues in M&A transactions; providing employment counseling to clients in various industries (particularly private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies) on a wide variety of issues, from “day-to-day” HR matters to more complex, high-stakes matters involving senior executives or otherwise requiring C-suite attention; and litigating and resolving employment disputes, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation.

Legal 500 recognized Mr. Zweig as a “Rising Star” in the areas of Labor and Employment Disputes as well as Workplace and Employment Counseling.  He has published and presented on numerous topics in the field of employment law.

Mr. Zweig serves as a member of the Leadership Counsel of Lawyers for Children, a New York City-based non-profit organization. 

EDUCATION

Mr. Zweig received his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School.

Mr. Zweig is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
