EXPERIENCE

Mr. Kang is a Partner of MCLLP. Prior to joining MCLLP, Mr. Kang was an associate with the Private Equity and M&A group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, Illinois, where he represented private equity sponsors and private and public company clients in a wide range of complex transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, and securities offerings, and advised on various corporate governance matters.

EDUCATION

Mr. Kang earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in China Asia Pacific Studies from Cornell University, cum laude. Mr. Kang then earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School, cum laude. 

Mr. Kang is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. He is not licensed in the State of California.
